Legato Bow Changes

A goal for playing long legato lines is to be able to change bow direction with no audible break in the sound. This "spun sound" requires anticipating the bow change in the arm, wrist, and fingers. The wrist and fingers act like a spring and change directions before the bow.The three variables of the bow must be completely controlled.
