Using Natural Harmonics on
Double Bass
In double bass solo
playing, natural harmonics are extensively used.
Only one finger may touch the string at a time, and the hand must remain
steady and in a consistent frame for the harmonics to be consistent.
The bow should be placed close to the bridge, but played lightly.
This movie is an excerpt
from the Dragonetti (Nanny) Concerto, 1st movement.
