Elbow Elevator

Place the bow on the string in the middle “squared up.” Roll the bow across the strings. As the bow rocks across strings, the elbow will move up and down, as show in this video. This is often called the “elbow elevator.” The elbow elevator can also be practiced with shadow bowing.
