Other Hardware for AccompanimentRoland makes a device called the ----- that allows the user to create accompnaiments.
MP3 players like Apple's iPod can be very useful because they can hold much more music than a CD, are very portable, and the music can be organized into playlists. For example, a teacher could transfer all the accompaniments from a method book CD onto the iPod, and transfer BIAB-created accompaniments onto the iPod. The iPod can be connected to external speakers for use in the class.
